A 72-year-old man, a retired mechanic from MTNL, was stabbed to loss of life by two assailants at his residence in East Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar space on Saturday morning, police stated.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Apurva Gupta stated a PCR name was acquired in New Ashok Nagar stating that somebody had murdered the caller’s father.
After studying the information, the native police instantly rushed to the scene of home No. C-2/33 in New Ashok Nagar.
In the home, a person named Gautam Thakur was discovered lifeless on his mattress in a first-floor room. He suffered stab wounds to his stomach, Gupta stated.
She stated the PCR name was made by Thakur’s eldest son Mukesh Thakur.

Police stated Thakur retired from MTNL in 2012 and presently lives on the primary ground of the home along with his two sons and their households.
