Former Uttar Pradesh cupboard minister and BJP president Swami Prasad Maurya and his daughter Sanghamitra Maurya, former Lok Sabha member of the BJP, are concerned in a marital dispute The case was declared absconding by the courtroom on Friday.
On April 4, non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued in opposition to Swami Prasad and Sanghamitra for failing to seem in courtroom in an assault case associated to a matrimonial dispute.
Notably, Deepak Kumar Swarnakar from Lucknow has moved the courtroom claiming that he has been in a relationship with Sanghamitra since 2016 and married her in 2019.
Svanaka stated within the criticism that each Sangamitra and Swami Prasad throughout their marriage claimed that she was divorced from her first marriage. Nonetheless, Swarnkar claimed that Sanghamitra obtained divorced in 2021.
Swami Prasad additional stated that in 2021, Swami Prasad and Sanghamitra attacked him at his home “with the intention of killing”.
He additional stated that in November 2021, he suffered one other assault at a lodge in Kushinagar, adopted by one other assault close to Dr Ambedkar College in Lucknow in 2021.
