Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday lashed out on the Opposition, calling the Finances “biased” and backing BJP allies – JD(U) in Bihar and Andhra Pradesh TDP of the state.
Replying to the price range dialogue within the Lok Sabha, Sitharaman claimed that no state has been denied funds.
She recalled that previously budgets of the UPA authorities, the names of all states weren’t talked about within the price range speech.
“I’ve been paying consideration from the price range speeches of 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2007-2008, and so on. The 2004-2005 price range didn’t use the names of the 17 states. I believe I believe the names of 17 states weren’t taken within the 2004-2005 price range. Ask members of the then UPA authorities – was the cash not flowing to these 17 states?
