Heavy rains wreaked havoc in Gansali in Uttarakhand’s Tehri district on Wednesday, claiming the lives of two individuals.
The victims had been 50-year-old Bhanu Prasad and his 45-year-old spouse Neelam Devi. (Ghansali) A restaurant and a culvert close to Nota stream in Jakhanyali had been destroyed by heavy rains.
Heavy rains additionally occurred close to the Bhim Bali stream alongside the Kedarnath path, resulting in landslides that broken about 25 meters of the path. Roads had been quickly closed, leaving almost 200 pilgrims stranded in Bhim, Bali.
