
The New England Revolution acquired Tim Parker and money from St. Louis Metropolis on Saturday in change for fellow guard Henry Kessler.
The Revolution gave Parker, 31, a basic grant of $600,000 by way of 2025.
Parker made 21 appearances (20 begins) for St. Louis Metropolis in 2024, his tenth MLS season. The veteran has performed 267 video games (256 begins) for 4 groups in his profession, scoring 6 objectives and 4 assists.
“Tim brings a wealth of expertise to our membership,” Revs sporting director Curt Onalfo mentioned. “Tim carried out on the highest degree final season as an MLS All-Professional and All-Star participant. We sit up for welcoming Tim to the New England Revolution as we proceed to strengthen our roster.”
Kessler, 26, has appeared in 17 video games (15 begins) in his fifth season in New England. Since making his MLS debut with the Revs in 2020, he has contributed 4 objectives in 98 video games (88 begins).
Like Parker, Kessler is a two-time member of the U.S. Males’s Nationwide Group.
“Henry is a wonderful middle again with nationwide group expertise since being drafted in 2020,” St. Louis sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel mentioned. “He’s an aggressive defender. “His ball-handling imaginative and prescient will make him an incredible addition to our protection.”
New England (7 wins, 14 attracts, 2 losses, 23 factors) ranks final within the Jap Convention, whereas St. Louis Metropolis (4 wins, 10 attracts, 11 losses, 23 factors) ranks second to final within the Western Convention.
