A lady died whereas almost seven others had been rescued after two homes collapsed in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, early on Tuesday.
Eight individuals had been initially trapped beneath the rubble of the collapsed constructing, based on metropolis police chief Mohit Agrawal.
Senior police officer Kaushal Sharma stated the homes collapsed attributable to heavy rains within the metropolis.
A crew of police, Nationwide Catastrophe Response Power (NDRF), docs and canine squad are on the scene as rescue operations proceed.
These homes are very near the Kashgar Golden Temple.
