All 4 groups superior to the higher bracket semifinals with their wins. Natus Vincere defeated paiN Gaming, Astralis defeated 9z Group, SAW defeated G2 Esports, and The MongolZ took Group Spirit’s greatest efficiency.
Sixteen groups competed within the double-elimination part of the $1 million Counter-Strike: International Offensive event.
The group stage begins on Saturday and runs by Tuesday, with two double-elimination matches that includes eight gamers in every group. The primary place within the group advances on to the play-off semi-finals. The second-placed crew within the group advances to the quarterfinals of the playoffs as a higher-seeded crew, and the third-placed crew within the group advances to the quarterfinals of the playoffs as a lower-seeded crew.
The only-elimination event begins on Friday and ends on August 18th. The winner qualifies for the IEM Katowice occasion and the BLAST Premier World Finals, in addition to a $400,000 prize.

Complexity Gaming’s match towards VP ended with a 13-6 win on Vertigo earlier than dropping 16-14 on Mud II. They then defeated Anubis 13-5 to remain within the higher bracket.
FaZe Clan picked up wins over Mirage (13-11) and Nuke (13-10).
