A seven-year-old boy suffered burn accidents when he fell on burning coals throughout a fireplace ritual throughout a temple competition close to Alambhakkam in Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvallur district on Sunday.
The incident occurred throughout a ceremony on the Mariamman temple in Kattukollaimedu village as a part of the temple’s annual Adi competition.
Greater than 100 devotees within the village celebrated the competition by strolling on burning charcoal pits.
