5 prisoners jailed beneath the Safety of Youngsters from Sexual Offenses Act escaped from Assam’s Morigaon district jail on Friday evening. Inmates used robes, blankets and sheets to scale the 20-foot jail wall, evading safety checks and triggering a serious alarm all through the area.
The fugitives have been recognized as Saifuddin, Jalul Islam, Noor Islam, Mafidul and Abdul Rashid, all of whom have been charged with homicide associated to Boksor Serve for the crime.
