An Air India passenger was arrested at Cochin Worldwide Airport on Sunday morning for making “stunning remarks” to CISF officers on the X-ray Baggage Inspection System (XBIS) checkpoint, information company ANI reported. The person, Manoj Kumar, 42, was scheduled to fly from Cochin to Mumbai on an Air India flight.
The Air India flight took off on the scheduled time.
An official assertion issued by Cochin Airport stated: “Throughout pre-boarding safety, Kumar requested CISF officers, ‘Is there a bomb in my bag?’ This remark instantly attracted consideration and prompted the airport safety workforce to take swift motion.”
