Anna Kendrick Is starring in and directing a brand new film about “The Courting Sport Killer” Rodney Alcala … She simply launched the primary trailer and it’s actually enjoyable.
The movie known as Now Lady and shall be launched on Netflix later this month… and Anna will star Cheryl BradshawIt was the girl Alcala received a date on the 1978 traditional recreation present.
Cheryl gave up on courting Alcala after she really met him as a result of she discovered him “creepy”… Years later, a California jury discovered Alcala had been on a killing spree earlier than his TV debut.
Alcala was finally convicted of killing a number of girls and a baby in Orange County… and he was suspected or linked to murders in Washington, Arizona, New York and New Hampshire.
The serial killer died on California’s dying row in 2021.
Anna makes her directorial debut right here, with Netflix describing her movie as “a stranger-than-fiction story about an aspiring actress and a girl who’s on a years-long homicide spree in Seventies Los Angeles.” The story of a serial killer whose lives intersect between them.
The movie shall be launched on Netflix on October 18.
