Fourteen NDA MLAs from Kalyana Karnataka district, which consists of seven districts in northern Karnataka, wrote to the governor alleging unfair distribution of growth funds.
The BJP-JDS MP claimed that a lot of the funds allotted to the Kalyana Karnataka Regional Growth Board (KKRDB) within the newest state finances offered on February 16 had been allotted to the MPs.
“It may be seen that as per the allocation of the Kalyana Karnataka Growth Finances, out of the Rs 5,000 crore grant, practically Rs 2,000 crore is being allotted to the chief minister, committee chairman, planning minister and districts,” the letter stated. Minister in Cost.
“Whereas a serious portion of the remaining allocation of Rs 3,000 crore will likely be distributed amongst all Congress MLAs, equitable distribution is denied to the PPP MLAs,” the NDA MLAs stated within the letter.
They claimed that allocation of funds in favor of the opposition MLAs had led to stagnant growth in Kalyana Karnataka, stating that they weren’t even members of the event committee.
The MLA requested Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot to intervene within the matter.
The MLAs who wrote the letter embrace Opposition whip and Kushtagi MLA DH Patil, rural MLA Prabhu Chavan, Raichur MLA Shivaraj Patil, Chincholi MLA Avinash Jadav, Lingasugur MLA Manappa Vajjal and Gangavati MLA G Janardhan Reddy.
Different MPs who signed the letter embrace Hagaribommanahalli MLA Nemiraj Nayak, Gulbarga Rural MLA Basavaraj Mattimod, Bhalki MLA Krishna Naik, Gurmitkal MLA Sharanagouda Kandakur, Basavakalyan MLA Sharma Malagar, Bidar South MLA Shailendra Beldale, Huababad MLA.
