A person has been arrested for allegedly issuing a “loss of life risk” to the Haryana Chief Minister in Julana’s WhatsApp group, police mentioned on Saturday.
The accused was recognized as Ajmer, a local of Devi Lal village in Jind district.
Jind police chief Sumit Kumar mentioned Ajmer had issued a loss of life risk in a WhatsApp group on October 8, the day of counting of votes within the state.
“As quickly because the incident got here to the eye of the police, a case was registered and Ajmer was arrested,” he mentioned.
Congress candidate and wrestler Vinesh Phogat gained the Julana meeting seat by defeating his nearest rival, BJP candidate Yogesh Kumar, by a margin of 6,015 votes.
