A day after the accused within the rape and homicide case of a 31-year-old physician at Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital was arrested and held in police custody for 14 days, his mom charged him with homicide.
Malati Roy, mom of accused Sanjoy Roy, stated her son was compelled to admit. Roy has confessed to his crime, and proof means that he might have been the mastermind behind the physician’s homicide. Nonetheless, police stated DNA checks would even be performed to determine whether or not Sanjoy Roy was concerned within the crime.
Notably, Sanjoy Roy, an outsider who frequented the hospital, has reportedly been booked underneath sections 64 (rape) and 103 (homicide) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) accusation. He has been remanded in police custody till August 23.
