Tv broadcaster Eurosport on Sunday eliminated a commentator from its protection of the Paris Olympics after he made sexist feedback throughout a swimming occasion.
Bob Ballard made the feedback after the Australian swimmer received gold within the ladies’s 4x100m freestyle relay on Saturday.
In a clip that went viral on social media, Ballard mentioned: “Nicely, the ladies simply completed. what ladies are like…hanging out, placing on make-up.”
Ballard’s co-commentator Lizzie Simmonds known as the feedback “outrageous.”
“Throughout a phase of Eurosport’s protection final night time, commentator Bob Ballard made inappropriate feedback,” Eurosport mentioned in a press release.

Ballard had no speedy response.
