The Bharatiya Janata Get together on Tuesday introduced 9 candidates for the September 3 by-polls in Rajasthan, together with Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu from Rajasthan and from the Centre. George Kurian of Bong.
The get together fielded former BJD chief Mamata Mohanta from Odisha and former Congress chief Kiran Choudhary from Haryana. Each leaders not too long ago joined the BJP.
In response to the listing of 9 candidates introduced by the BJP, Manan Kumar Mishra will contest the by-election polls in Bihar, Maharashtra’s Dariyash Dhairyashil Patil and Rajib Bhattacharjee of Tripura will contest the election.
Bhattacharjee is the president of the Tripura unit of the Bharatiya Janata Get together.
The ruling get together has fielded a delegation of Ranjan Das and former Union Minister Rameshwar Telly as candidates from Assam.
Elections for 12 vacant federal parliamentary seats in 9 states shall be held on September 3.
Ten of the seats are vacant, together with incumbents reminiscent of Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Sarbananda Sonowal and Jyotiraditya Scindia MPs are elected to the Home of Commons.
Polling can also be occurring in two seats in Telangana and Odisha.
