Seven Samsung staff have been arrested in Tamil Nadu late on Tuesday evening amid month-long protests by workers at South Korean electronics big’s Sriperumbudur plant.
The employees had three major calls for – greater wages, higher working hours, and recognition of the newly shaped unions.
