
The Minnesota Twins introduced Friday that infielder Kyle Farmer has been positioned on the 10-day injured listing with a strained proper shoulder.
The transfer is retroactive to July 11.
In 63 video games this season, Farmer batted .189 and had an on-base proportion of .291. He ran 15 instances and scored one other 15 runs whereas strolling 13 instances.
Farmer, 33, has profession 50 house runs and 244 RBIs in eight seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers (2017-18), Cincinnati Reds (2019-22) and Twins. The speed is 0.250.
In a corresponding transfer, the Twins recalled catcher Jair Camargo from Triple-A St. Paul.
Camargo, 25, made his main league debut on April 16 and performed in two video games, going 0-for-4 with a stroll and a run.
After being despatched to the Saints, he batted .215 with eight doubles and one triple, six house runs and 27 RBIs in 33 video games.
The Twins open a three-game sequence in opposition to the San Francisco Giants on Friday evening.
